The advent of this album has a special story

After about 20 years in the insurance and financial industry it felt exciting with an additional challenge. As I have become older and perhaps wiser, also grew the desire to make some sort of public benefit. When my father Charles died in 2006, after having cancer a second time, the idea was born to start a foundation that would distribute its return to scientific research in the areas of cancer and autism. Said and done. On 31 January 2009, when my father would have turned 80 years old, I founded LifeWatch Niclas Öberg Foundation. For me LifeWatch is a lifelong commitment that I gladly engage in.

I’ve been writing music since I was a little boy and saw the opportunity and the challenge to create an album with my music performed by some of the very best artists and musicians in Sweden. All the artists participate completely free for the good cause and I’m humbly grateful for this favor! 100% of profits and my remuneration as the author goes directly to the Foundation.
