About LifeWatch

On January 31, 2009 Niclas Öberg founded LifeWatch – Niclas Öberg Foundation. The Foundation supports qualified charity with main focus on scientific research on cancer, autism and similar conditions. On January 31 the foundation hands out an annual research prize for any of these purposes.

After about 20 years in the insurance and financial sector Niclas Öberg wanted, to make a contribution of social benefit. He wanted to use his contacts and good relationships with various artists, politicians, business profiles and policy makers at various levels for a good cause in which he feels a personal commitment.

After a few years an idea of a foundation developed and the plans were put into practice.
